Education & Advocacy

PTV engages elected officials and policy makers in discussing what responses are needed to stop torture, and advocates for the appropriate and adequate resources that will facilitate the healing of the survivors of torture and their families.

PTV collaborates with local organizations to host public programs for events such as the United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. We enjoy initiating and participating in thoughtful dialogue about torture and its consequences to the individual and society.

If you would like to invite a PTV staff member to speak to your organization, please email info@ptvla.org.
